DR. DMITRY MEYERSON

Dr. Meyerson completed his undergraduate studies at Clark University in 2003, where he majored in Psychology with a concentration in Brain and Behavior coursework and a minor in Computer Science. He pursued his interests in Clinical Psychology in the Doctoral Program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, graduating in 2013. During his training at UMass, his primary interests were in Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health, focusing on studying cognitive functioning in chronic pain sufferers.

Dr. Meyerson completed his internship in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology and Medical Illnesses at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) at Tewksbury Hospital in Massachusetts, a facility serving indiviudals with medical and comorbid psychological illnesses. During his time there, he served on the Interdisciplinary Pain Team, providing psychological consultations to the medical staff, participated in weekly rounds for several inpatient units, incluidng brain injury and general medical units, and co-facilitated weekly substance abuse and psychological support groups. He also conducted routine psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.

Currently, Dr. Meyerson continues to enjoy his primary interests in Neuropsychology and clinical work, such as conducting general psychological evaluations, delivering therapeutic services (psychotherapy) on an outpatient basis, and assessing the psychological effects of chronic pain and other chronic health conditions.
